The throughline today is IFA 2026's broad sweep across products that could scarcely be more different in purpose, from electric aircraft to grooming tools and portable gaming. Controls take different forms
At the most ambitious end of the day’s announcements, CoolFly’s Dream aircraft and NA80 controls put the company’s Dream ST on the IFA stage alongside the Dream Pro and Urban. The shared detail is the dual-redundant NA80 flight-control system, which gives the presentation a common technical thread rather than treating the three aircraft as isolated concepts. It is also a reminder of IFA’s widening range: the same event that hosts consumer devices can now serve as a venue for electric-aircraft systems.
That emphasis on the mechanism behind a product also surfaced in a much more personal category. Laifen’s AutoCurl, Glowy Vanity Mirror and P3 shaver span hair styling, a vanity setup and shaving, but each arrives with a distinct piece of hardware to foreground: an automated curling iron, a radar-equipped mirror and a dual-motor electric shaver. Taken together, the trio makes a case for personal-care devices defined less by a single category and more by the features built into their everyday form factors.
