Microsoft Edge tests Apple Account sign-in
Microsoft is testing Apple Account sign-in for Edge profiles on macOS and Windows, with a controlled rollout listed for Edge Beta 152.

9to5Mac reports that Microsoft is testing Apple Account sign-in for Edge profiles on macOS and Windows.
The latest Edge Canary build adds two flags:
- Apple Sign-In Button on Profile Menu adds an Apple sign-in button to Edge’s profile menu.
- Sign in with Apple enables Apple sign-in for an Edge profile.
The first flag depends on the second, which is identified internally as #edge-swag-m1-apple. The interface would mirror the Google Account sign-in option Microsoft previously added to Edge.
Microsoft’s release notes for Edge Beta version 152 also list Apple Account sign-in as rolling out on Windows and macOS. The rollout is controlled, so the feature may not yet be available to every Beta user.
Once enabled broadly, users will be able to sign in to an Edge profile with an existing Apple Account rather than using—or creating—a Microsoft Account. The report does not provide a public release date.
