IFA 2026: TORRAS brings airbag phone case to Berlin

TORRAS announced the Q3 Air Pro magnetic stand case and showed it at IFA 2026 in Berlin, where the accessory is making its first international trade show appearance. The event runs from September 4–8, 2026, and TORRAS will present the product at Hall 5.2, Booth 151.

The Q3 Air Pro uses a dual-layer airbag structure designed to protect a phone without adding unnecessary bulk. A hidden kickstand and magnetic attachment system support hands-free viewing, filming and capturing photos while moving between activities.

TORRAS is presenting the case under the theme “Free Your Hands to Create.” The theme refers to uses such as watching content without holding the device, recording video while standing or moving, and setting the phone down for hands-free interaction.

The company says the case is intended for demanding everyday and outdoor situations. It identifies the dual-layer airbag construction as the main protection mechanism, while the integrated stand is meant to preserve the case’s utility after the phone is put down. The magnetic design supports the stand without requiring a separate accessory for basic hands-free use.

TORRAS also points to design details aimed at an exploration-oriented audience, including Mount Everest coordinates incorporated into the product. Those details are decorative rather than technical specifications, and the announcement does not provide impact-rating figures, drop-test conditions, supported phone models or the case’s dimensions and weight.

The Ostand concept expands beyond one case

The Q3 Air Pro is part of TORRAS' Ostand lineup, which the company will also display at IFA. Ostand products share the magnetic stand concept, but TORRAS says the lineup is adapted for different daily scenarios and user interests rather than being limited to a single phone case design.

The booth will include product demonstrations, interactive activities and giveaways. Visitors will be able to see how the stand works in different orientations and use cases, although a public demonstration is not the same as independent testing of the case’s protection claims.

TORRAS frames the Ostand range around movement, hands-free use and content creation. It cites relationships with sports, fashion and creative communities, including the Portugal National Football Team, New York Fashion Week and HYROX, as examples of the audiences it is trying to reach. Those affiliations show the brand’s marketing focus, not performance data for the Q3 Air Pro.

The company’s IFA 2026 press announcement does not disclose a price, a release date or US retail availability. For American buyers, the key practical question is therefore still open: the event establishes that TORRAS is exhibiting the product, but not when or where it can be purchased in the United States.

The announcement also leaves several engineering details unspecified, including the phone models supported by the magnetic case, the exact construction of the dual-layer airbag system, and any measured protection results. Until TORRAS publishes those figures alongside pricing and US availability, the Q3 Air Pro remains a trade-show preview rather than a fully specified product launch.
