IFA 2026: Roborock targets every chore with new robots
Roborock unveiled new vacuums, a lawn mower and its first pool cleaner at IFA 2026, but US pricing and availability remain unsettled.

At IFA 2026, which runs September 4–8 in Berlin, Roborock showed a robot lineup covering vacuuming floors, scrubbing stains, mowing grass and cleaning pools. The company announced the Saros 20 Flow Complete, Saros 20 Neo, F25 Ultra Steam Gen 2, F25 Pro Turbo Combo, RockNeo Q2 LiDAR mower and RockAqua P1 pool cleaner at the event.
The new machines address some of the problems that prevent automated cleaning from being hands-free. They are designed to cross taller thresholds, avoid more obstacles, wash and dry their own cleaning hardware, park where they can be retrieved and work without some of the infrastructure traditionally required outdoors.

The company’s approach follows the direction we noted in our preview of experimental IFA 2026 cleaning technology, where stair-climbing vacuum attachments and more proactive appliances were expected to be major themes. Roborock’s products shown in Berlin are less experimental than the stair-climbing Saros Rover, but they address the same problem: a robot that cannot handle the physical layout of a home, yard or pool still needs a person to rescue it.

Saros 20 Flow and Neo push obstacle handling
The Saros 20 Flow Complete is Roborock’s new high-end robot vacuum and mop. It combines 36,000 pascals of suction with lidar navigation and AI-based recognition of more than 300 types of obstacles. Roborock says it can navigate in both bright and dark environments, though the supplied reporting does not include independent test results or details about the lighting conditions behind that claim.
At 8.98 centimeters high, the Flow Complete is designed to reach under more furniture than many tall dock-based cleaners. Roborock calls it the slimmest robot vacuum on the market. Its roller mop applies 15 newtons of downward pressure, spins at 240 rotations per minute and uses 16 pressurized water outlets to attack dried stains on hard floors. The system also has dual-lifting side brushes for edge cleaning.
The AdaptLife system lets the robot cross double thresholds up to 8.8 cm high. Rather than simply driving over a small floor transition, the chassis has to lift or reconfigure itself while preserving contact with the floor. The dock washes and dries the mop, empties the robot and dispenses detergent, moving several routine maintenance tasks into the base station.
The Saros 20 Neo is designed for difficult layouts. Its AdaptLift chassis 3.0 is also rated for double-layer thresholds up to 8.8 cm, while its body is only 7.95 cm high. Roborock says the larger battery can clean 350 square meters, or about 3,767 square feet, in one run. It retains 36,000 Pa suction, adds anti-tangle rollers for long pet hair and uses a mop with 14 newtons of downward pressure.
Roborock will sell the Neo in the United States as the Qrevo Edge 3 Pro. The reporting is inconsistent about its status: one account says US price and availability were still awaiting confirmation, while another says the US-branded version is already available. Roborock has not supplied a US price in the material provided here. The Flow Complete is expected in the US before October, while another event report places its launch in October; neither price nor a more precise date was announced.

Steam and combination cleaning target different chores
The F25 Ultra Steam Gen 2 is designed for sticky and greasy messes that ordinary wet-dry rollers may struggle to remove. Its steam system produces up to 2.5 times as much steam as the previous generation and reaches a stable 180°C, about 365°F, within 30 seconds after preheating. The machine automatically adjusts its cleaning behavior for different floor types, so the user does not have to select a mode manually.
The upright is designed to pass under low furniture and uses wheel assistance to reduce the effort of moving it. A robotic arm extends the cleaning action to walls and edges; this is a cleaning attachment, not the articulated grabbing arm used by Roborock’s Saros Z70. The F25 Ultra Steam Gen 2 includes self-cleaning and drying, but the supplied reports do not state its water-tank capacity, weight or cleaning area.
US timing also differs slightly between reports. One gives a September 28 launch date; another says September 29. The precise date should therefore be treated as unresolved, although both accounts agree that the model is intended for the US.
The F25 Pro Turbo Combo is the more flexible machine. Roborock calls it a five-in-one system because it combines a wet-dry floor vacuum with a cordless vacuum in one platform. It offers 25,000 Pa suction, assisted wheels, multiple brush heads and a scraper intended to keep hair from wrapping around the brush.
The detachable drive module distinguishes it from a conventional wet-dry floor cleaner: the same device can be configured for hard-floor spills or used as a cordless vacuum for carpet and dry debris. Roborock did not announce a US price or launch date for the Pro Turbo Combo, and the reports provide no battery-runtime figure for it.
Outdoor robots add retrieval and navigation problems
Roborock’s first pool product, the RockAqua P1, is designed to clean more than a flat pool floor. It can work on walls, the waterline, steps and shallow platforms as shallow as 15 cm, using vision-based obstacle avoidance to identify drain covers and steps. Its adaptive cleaning path is intended to handle pools with different shapes and depths.
The P1 uses a 4-liter debris basket and dual filtration with 180-micrometer and 70-micrometer filters. Roborock rates its suction at 6,800 gallons per hour and says it can capture fine debris, sand and large leaves. Its motor adjusts suction to the debris and situation: when it approaches larger material, it can reduce water flow so the object is not pushed away, then increase suction as it closes in.
At the end of a cleaning cycle, the robot rests on the water’s surface rather than remaining on the bottom, where the owner would have to retrieve it manually. Roborock claims up to 3.5 hours of runtime and fast charging, but a separate report identifies the product as the RockAqua Q1, not P1, and says it has a 3.5-hour recharge time, a monocular camera, dynamic dirt detection and Auto Waterline Parking. Roborock’s naming and charging specifications need clarification before US buyers can evaluate it.
There is also a capability gap against at least one named competitor. The P1's obstacle avoidance can identify physical obstructions, but the supplied comparison says it does not appear to offer the proactive debris-detection feature found on Aiper’s Scuba V3, which can hunt for leaves, bugs and stones. High suction is not automatically equivalent to better cleaning: lab testing cited in the reporting found that raw power alone does not determine performance.
The RockNeo Q2 LiDAR takes a similar infrastructure-light approach on lawns. It does not need a buried boundary wire or an RTK beacon, relying on LiDAR and ReactiVision Fusion to navigate. Roborock says the mower can handle 45% slopes, passages as narrow as 60 cm and edge cutting within 3 cm of the boundary. Its IPX6 rating provides water resistance, while the charging station includes a Wi-Fi amplifier to improve communication with the mower and its app.
The Q2 supports mowing zones and cutting routines, has anti-theft protection and works with Alexa and Google Home. One report says it can cover up to 8,600 square feet. US pricing and availability have not been announced; another account says the mower is currently Europe-only.
US rollout is unresolved
Roborock has not published prices for any of the products in the supplied material. The company is staggering releases by market, with Europe serving as the first venue for several products and US availability confirmed only for selected models. The Qrevo Edge 3 Pro is the US name for the Saros 20 Neo, and the F25 Ultra Steam Gen 2 is headed to the US in late September. The Flow Complete is expected before or during October, depending on which reported timing is used.
The outdoor products carry more uncertainty. The RockNeo Q2 and RockAqua P1 have US availability listed as “to be confirmed,” and one report describes both as Europe-only for now. Roborock did not directly address the FCC restrictions affecting future foreign-made advanced robotic devices. The Saros 20 Neo’s US release and the Flow Complete’s planned US launch suggest those indoor models may already have cleared the relevant approval process, but that is an inference from the reported rollout—not a statement Roborock made about certification.
That regulatory question matters because US buyers cannot treat the European unveiling as a global launch. We previously reported that FCC restrictions could affect the security review, supply, pricing and availability of future robot vacuums. For Roborock’s lawn and pool machines, there is currently no US price, no confirmed US release date and no direct explanation of how the restrictions apply.
The most concrete US arrival is the F25 Ultra Steam Gen 2, with reports differing by one day between September 28 and September 29. The mower that eliminates boundary infrastructure and the pool robot that can clean walls and retrieve itself remain the least certain for American customers.
