Google Pixel 11 lineup raises prices across the range
Google’s Pixel 11 lineup adds Tensor G6, camera upgrades, Watch 5 health tools, and Pixel Tag, but prices rise across the range.
Google’s Pixel 11 lineup brings higher prices, a new Tensor G6 chip, camera upgrades, and a new item tracker. The company also announced expanded health features for the Pixel Watch 5 and software tools for creators. The Verge reports that Google presented the devices at its August 12, 2026 launch event.

Pixel 11 pricing and specifications
The standard Pixel 11 starts at $899, a $100 increase over the Pixel 10. Google has doubled the base storage to 256GB and included 12GB of RAM. The phone launches on August 20, 2026.
It runs on Google’s Tensor G6 chip, which Google says delivers 25% faster web browsing and 15% faster app loading. The company also claims more than 30 hours of battery life and wireless charging that is 25% faster than the Pixel 10.
The rear camera system includes a 48MP wide camera, 13MP ultrawide camera, and 10.8MP 5x telephoto camera, alongside a 10.5MP selfie camera. Google says the wide camera has 56% greater light sensitivity, while the telephoto camera supports up to 30x Super Zoom. The camera bump is more than 40% thinner than the Pixel 10's.
The phone comes in obsidian black, frost, hibiscus pink, and pistachio green. The price and storage change match earlier reports about the Pixel 11 launch, while the previously reported August 12 announcement date has now passed.

The Pixel 11 Pro starts at $1,099, and the Pixel 11 Pro XL starts at $1,299. Both base models offer 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM; the 512GB and 1TB versions increase RAM to 16GB.
Both Pro models use Tensor G6 and feature displays rated up to 3,600 nits. Their cameras include a 50MP wide camera, 48MP ultrawide camera, and new 48MP telephoto camera with up to 120x Pro Zoom, plus a 42MP front camera. Google claims more than 30 hours of battery life and over 29% faster wireless charging than the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL.
A new camera-bar feature called HiLight uses an LED to signal Gemini interactions and calls from favorite contacts. Google says it will later support message notifications from frequent contacts. The Pro models come in canyon, fog, olive, and matte obsidian.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold starts at $1,899, another $100 increase over its predecessor. Its base configuration includes 256GB of storage and 16GB of RAM, with olive and black color options.
Google says the foldable has its thinnest bezels yet and is three times more durable than the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. It adds IP68 water and dust resistance, a back material “designed to be nearly impossible to crack,” displays that are 20% brighter, and an inner screen reaching 3,600 nits.
The Fold uses Tensor G6 and offers up to 24 hours of battery life. Its cameras include a 48MP wide, 10.5MP ultrawide, and 10.8MP telephoto camera with up to 30x Super Zoom.
New Pixel camera and Watch features
Google is adding several software features across the phone lineup:
- Magic Capture extracts photos and short clips from video recordings.
- Camera Looks applies customizable processing styles such as minimal, editorial, and “digi,” rather than simply placing a filter over an image.
- Pro Stable Video on the Pixel 11 Pro can record at up to 8K.
- A new Creator Suite adds video trimming and reordering, an onscreen teleprompter, and improved Speech Enhancement.

The Pixel Watch 5 keeps the previous model’s design but adds health-monitoring features. Breathing Emergency Detection can trigger an emergency call if the watch detects a significant, sustained drop in blood oxygen saturation. It can also track nightly sleep-breathing quality and compile monthly reports.
Google plans to add Blood Pressure Trends and Insulin Resistance Trends in September 2026. Workout additions include AI-generated strength-training plans and rep tracking from the watch. Google also claims the Watch 5 has more accurate exercise route tracking than the Apple Watch Ultra 3 and Garmin Fenix 8 Pro, though the source does not provide independent test results.
The Watch 5 starts at $399, a $50 increase, and comes in 41mm and 45mm sizes. A Steph Curry special edition costs $579 and launches on September 3, 2026. Color options include black, white, olive green, and pink.

Google is entering the item-tracker market with Pixel Tag, which launches on November 11, 2026 at $29 for one tracker or $99 for a four-pack. That undercuts the €34.99 European price previously reported for the Pixel Tag, although the earlier report left US availability uncertain.
The oblong tracker measures 1.1 by 1.8 inches, compared with the AirTag’s 1.26-inch diameter. It has IP67 water and dust resistance and a replaceable CR2032 battery that Google says lasts more than a year.

Google is also releasing the two-year-old Pixel Buds Pro 2 in olive green on August 12, 2026, matching the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro Fold. A firmware update scheduled for September 2026 is intended to improve the earbuds' active noise cancellation.
